We are solving the issue with our design where the MP8030 POE PD controller is used. The design should ensure parallel connection of power from the PSE and the AUX adaptor for backup purposes. The design contains the ideal bridge block on the POE PD side. We detected several board damages when the AUX voltage > PSE voltage, especially when Aux power is applied later after PSE power supply.
