Customer have a question about the [Figure 19 Typical Application Circuit] on page 36 of the MP8009 data sheet.
What is the purpose of the 2.4MΩ connected between VCC and SENSE? It wasn’t mentioned in the data sheet, so it would be helpful if you could tell me what it means.

Just some guy on the internet, I don’t see much purpose for this. It adds about 8mV to the sensed current signal so will alter the point at which it goes from peak current control to fixed current variable frequency. It is a small cheap component put it in the layout and then play with it. I used to do application engineering you could end up doing all kinds of weird stuff to extract a tiny extra imagined benefit.
