MP8008GV_ ADP INPUT, and priority input

Hi,

We are using the MP8008 in our design and have a question about the adapter input voltage. Can this chip support input voltages of 15V, 20V, and 48V? While the design works fine with PoE, we are uncertain about the adapter input.

Additionally, we need to know the input priority for this chip. If both PoE and an adapter are connected, we want the adapter to be prioritized. What hardware configuration would achieve this?

Hi Sarath,

Yes, this chip can support those input voltages.
Please refer to Note 9 in the datasheet on page 7.

I would like to understand the formula or method for adjusting the output voltage through the feedback network using a shunt resistor. Could you guide me to the relevant section in the datasheet where this information is provided?

I need to understand how we can vary the output voltage based on the feedback network.

can someone respond to this, I need to understand the output voltage formula.

i was supposed to design, with below specs;

VIN(ADP)- 24V @ 2amps
Vout -15 or 18V @ 1.5 amps

Can you help me to get the exact feedback resistor values for output voltage of 15V,I’m bit confused to understand the output settings on page 23

Input voltage from adaptor is 24VDC
