I purchased the EV6532-R-01 evaluation board to run tests with a 24V 8-pole motor. Unfortunately, I’m having problems with this driver.
Specifically, the motor operates erratically, causing vibrations and overheating. Furthermore, the LOW-side MOSFETs (Q1, Q2, Q3) begin to heat up significantly after a few seconds of operation, even though the tests were performed without a load on the motor.
The motor is fine because it works correctly on other boards managed with drivers from other manufacturers.
Perhaps the MP6532 driver isn’t capable of handling 8-pole motors?
