Hello , i know that the max current is 5 amp , is it possible to use at 7amp for a very low period , i mean 1 or 2 ms every 10msec ? thanks

Hi,

Thanks for contacting us. The overcurrent protection can go up to 13A, so it should be safe… However, it is not recommended to do so because running at 7A is close to trigger overcurrent protection. The switching frequency of this chip is 30k~300kHz, which means after about 33us of running 7.5A current, the IC will stop switching.
