Hi,
in my board i used 2 MP6513 for driving 2 coil of one stepper motor with 23 Ohm internal winding resistance. I drive input of MP6513 with 3.3V microcontroller… If i supply this board up to 7 Volts the stepper motor run normally…The expected voltage is 12V.
If i supply with over 7 Volts both the MP6513 stop the driving motor, and the outputs are reset.
I think is not current protection ,the output is stopped also without load…
Where am I wrong?
My components is marked “IATVR” is a MP6513GJ-P? In datasheet i read the mark code is “IALPY”.I buy this devices from Mouser… I think is not a MP6513GJ-P…
Now I solved it… My componentz is “L” version. Vcc max is +5.5V… Now i understand…
Hello @elvenr,
Apologies for the delayed response, The MP6513 can operate with supply voltage upto 21 V whereas the MP6513L can handle upto 5.5 V. You can find more details about the product here.
Best,
Saquib
