Hi MPS team,
When MP5990 and MP5991 are used in parallel, there are several signals shared by both chips such as IMON, VTEMP, OCREF, etc.
We are wondering how should we place the resistor and capacitors of these signals? Place one at the pin of each chip, or share the same one? If the latter is correct, should the common res/cap placed near MP5990 according to the datasheet diagram?

If there are distinct components placed for each device you should place distinct components as shown in the case of SS.
For Vtemp:

This screenshot is taken from MP5991 datasheet and describes the following.
The MP5990 datasheet does not describe requirement for the capacitor. The MP5991 describes the following. The capacitor is seen used when operating in 3-phase parallel without a controller with a single capacitor.
Given that the MP5990’s OCREF is an output from a 6-bit DAC that is used as reference for the MP5991 it seems appropriate to also place a capacitor here for noise reduction.
