MP5087: Short-Circuitry Response Protection

Hi,

  1. In the datasheet page 9 it show the responses of the device in SCP conditions when Vin=5V and Vcc=3.3V, What will be the behaviour of the device in SCP conditions when Vin and Vcc are connected to the same source voltage 3.3V ?
  2. Is there a EVB for this device, for testing ?

All that is changing is that the Vin is 3.3V instead of 5V.
The SCP behavior should remain the same. If the current reaches an internal secondary current limit level (about 13A), a fast turn-off circuit activates to turn off the power FET.
