MP5031 QC mode on USB A connecotor

Hello,

I want to build the USB charger for USB PD and USB QC. USB PD will use USB C connector and USB QC will use USB A connector. I found that the MP5051 support USB PD and USB QC. My idea is to connect 2 x MP5031 in sharing mode with one of MPS DC/DC buck converter. My question is about connectors. USB PD with USB C I know how to design. In reference aplication is quite good described. I have issue with QC mode for USB A connector. The USB A dosn’t have CC1 and CC2 pin. It has only DM + and DM -. How to connect the USB A connector with MP5031 to use QC mode?

  1. Ensure that the MP5031 is configured to support QC mode.

  2. Connect the USB A connector to the MP5031 using appropriate wiring.

  3. Configure the GPIO pins on the MP5031 to control the charging process.

  4. Ensure that the VBUS voltage is set correctly for the USB A connector.
