MP4569 - POK sink capability

Hello,
Is the POK output of the MP4569 able to sink 3mA?
What would be the POK output voltage (low) in that case - is it still below 0.8V?
Regards.

Hi r.falkenberg,

I believe this is covered in the datasheet in the Electrical Characteristics on page 4.

The logic low level of the POK is 0.4V and the device can sink 1mA.
Thanks,
Brendan

Hi Brendan,

Thanks for your answer.
I’ve noticed this parameter in the datasheet. But I guess 1mA is not the maximum current that POK can sink. It would help me to know what happens if the load causes 3mA to sink. 1mA is not sufficient for my application. Is there a known resistance from POK to ground (at low)?

Best regards,
Reno

If there are specs not in the datasheet, I would say it is not a “known” commodity or something we can hand out unfortunately. What is your application where you would need to know these specs of the POK function?

Thanks,
Brendan

Hi Brendan,
Thanks for your answer.
I understand that this parameter is not specified. That’s not a big problem. I will add an additional driver to sink more current…
Best regards,
Reno
