MP4562 Thermal performance

My design has input of either 24V or 48V. The output is 12V / 1A

I’m trying to calculate the power loss over MP4562. The only information I get from the datasheet is the efficiency curve, but I’m assuming that is for the entire power supply so I can’t calculate the temp rise at its junction. Is there a way that you can share either the switching data for the internal mosfet or the parameters for the inductor, diode and capacitor used for that efficiency curve?

Thank you for posting on the MPS Technical Forum.

For the efficiency curve in the datasheet: L = 10uH, Cout = 22uF x2 at an ambient temperature of 25°C. These should be listed under “Typical Performance Characteristics” in the datasheet.

Are you operating at a more extreme ambient temperature?
