MP4541 Exposed pad connection

Is there any written information on how to connect the exposed pad of the SOIC8-EP package on the MP4541?

Datasheet shows a recomended layout where the exposed pad is connected to GND but does not specify the pad in any manner.

I asume it can be directly tied to GND (as it would be suitable for heat dissipation). Is this correct?

Hello, same question. In the eval board it appears to be connected to GND.

Yes, the exposed pad of the MP4541 is connected to GND plane and it is done for heat dissipation as you mentioned.
