I’m planning to use two MP4245 components to output 5V and 12V respectively.
I’m considering using the MP4245-0001 IC which allows for Vout on/off control through the EN pin.
I would like to control the Vout output value using only the resistance divider of the FB pin without I2C control. Is this possible?
The reason for this question is that I initially thought it was possible, but it seems that V_FB, Scale_loop, and feedback_ratio are interrelated and the output is ultimately determined by the VOUT_COMMAND value. Am I understanding this correctly?
Are there any products with similar performance to the MP4245 that allow output voltage adjustment through FB pin voltage division?
I was particularly interested in the low quiescent current.
Yes, your understanding is correct, the output voltage is set with a combination you had outlined. This is due to the application for this part being optimized for use with a power delivery controller. What is your end application? Are you only looking for Buck-Boost topologies?
If you would like to use a different part, may I ask what are your operating parameters? Input voltage, output voltage, and load? If low quiescent current is what you are looking for, I can suggest a few different parts once you can provide that information.
