MP3924: Current available on VCC

When checking the datasheet of the MP3924 Quad Port PSE Controller I was wondering about the 17mA current limit on the VCC pin of the device. How much of these 17 mA can be used externally to supply a digital isolator? It is not entirely clear to me how much of these 17mA is consumed by the device interenally.

Hello @manuel.aebischer ,

The VCC pin should only be used to attach an external cap and to act as a pull up source for any EN or PG in the device. It is not recommended to use the VCC pin to try to power anything else.
