MP3437 output disconnect on EN=0?

Hi,

does the MP3437 switch off the output internally when disabled? Or do I get VIN on VOUT when disabled as typical boost converters do?

Requirement is VIN ~ 5V, VOUT = 15V, IOUT=0.5A, output must be OFF when disabled.
Is any other MPS part suitable for this?

Hi @matthias.fuchs,

You can use the EN pin to enable and disable MP3437. Please refer to the EN and programmable UVLO section on pg 18 of the DS for more information.
