MP3398A Simulation LED current

I’m using MPSmart to simulate the MP3398A. I’m using your steady state example schematic and I’ve managed to adjust the LED strings to 12 series 3V 1 ohm LEDs at 300mA (36V) and everything seems to work but I can’t seem to set the resistor ISET to deliver more than 250mA. 6.8k gets me 139mA, 4.8K gets me 197mA, 3.9K gets me 243k and 3.3k should get me to 300mA but I only see 249mA. 2.2k also seems to be limited to 249mA. I’ve reduced series r of the inductor, changed Rsense and wired PMW and ADIM high. I can’t see to reach 350mA per string. Any ideas? Maybe you have a schematic that indeed delivers 350mA in simulation you can share? Thanks!

Hello james.miller,

I will take a look into your question and respond as soon as possible.

Thank you,

Hello james.miller,

I apologize for not getting back sooner.
Could you share a picture of the schematic you have for the 12 series alteration?

Thank you,
