Mp3362 - doubts from typical application circuits

Hi, i found some doubts about the Typical Application Circuit.
What is the function of the optional components R10, C7 and D2?
Why are they not to be mounted?

Hello s.romandini,

For the R10 and C7 portions. These seem to be part of a snubber circuit network used to reduce switching noise.
