Hello,

I was wondering if I connect Ch1 and Ch2 together to increase current output during flashing? This would support just 1 Illuminator in total.

Looking at the datasheet I was not able to find anything that states that’s it’s ok/not ok.

From the block diagram it looks like a voltage is developed and then linear current sources drive the two LEDs. I can’t see what could possibly go wrong tying the two current sources together. Get a demo board and try it.
