MP28167 distinguish between -A and -B via I2C

Hello,
Since we had supply issues, in our projects we use MP28167-A and MP28167-B alternately, we would like to distinguish, by software, which one is used, to set proper VRef.

I don’t believe this would be possible since it seems that both parts have a fixed i2c address of 0x60. Are you saying only one would need Vref updated? Would you be able to just not connect the i2c lines to the device that does not require updating vref?

Thank You for Yours response, in this case we will most likely prepare 2 configuration of FB resistors, one correct variants for each MP28167, and cut out I2C.
