Hello
They switched from the MP2761 to the MP2764, so please ignore the previous questions. Let’s focus on the MP2764 from now on.
My customer consider to use MP2764.
They have a some questions.
I checked the datasheet, but I don’t quite understand NVDC mode.Could you please explain how this operation works in detail?
Q.1
Does the MP2764 limit the current for the SYS pin?
I understand that the OCP functions include the switch current limit and the input current limit.
Q.2
Does NVDC mode support the system when it is overloaded by pulling power from the battery output?
If so, how much output power can the NVDC architecture support?
For example
Vsys=8V
Isys=8A Max (Reccomend value in the MP2761 datasheet )
So,I understand maximum outputpower is 64W typically.
Can the battery supplement mode support a power level exceeding 64W?
We want to support a peak power of over 80W(Vsys=8V, Isys=10A).
Can we use the MP2764 under this condition?
Thanks.
