MP2762A Battery Missing Event Detection

Hi,

I am using MP2762A for battery charger IC for my system.
When Vin (=External Power) is “absent”, is it possible to detect battery missing using this IC?

Hi,
IC is typically powered via Vin or battery, if both are not connected, or minimum threshold for IC on is not met, IC will not be able to provide missing detection or faults.
