Hello all.
Is it possible to add high frequency filtering (bead+cap) at the charger output, and place the discharge FET after the filter?
The goal is to bypass the bead series resistance when the charger buck is not switching (during discharge) in order to reduce battery voltage drop

Hi @NirAlon,
I believe is should be fine. I personally haven’t seen bead on the output side, it is mostly on the input side.
However you can verify this on EVB.

An output bead is usually used in boost mode, unlike buck mode when the high frequency noise is mostly appears at the input.
