MP2760 Terminal processing when not using a thermistor

Hi
My customer has a question.
The customer is considering the MP2760, but the battery to be used does not have a thermistor, so the functions of the NTC and TS terminals are not used.
How should I handle the NTC/TS pin in that case?

Regard

Hi Tatsuro,

Apologies for the delay in response.
I will get back to you shortly.

Yu

Hi Tatsuro,

The NTC/TS pin is enabled by default. It can be disabled through I2C, however, it will need to be changed every power cycle because it will be in volatile memory. If disabled, it can be left floating.
If you want to keep it enabled while not using NTC function, it should be biased at a set voltage using voltage divider within the threshold to not trigger any faults.
If the TS function is enabled and not being used as well, it should also be set within threshold to not trigger any faults.
Please refer to datasheet for more information about this.

Yu
