MP2760 does not charge, without NTC

Dear.
Can the pin NTC be unconnected when the Reg0Dh/bit9 = 0 (NTC_EN is Disabled) ?

.
( Because when pin NTC is connected to pin VNTC (via resistor10k), there is an NTC float error on half of the devices . Reg17h= 0007.)

.

Other are: Reg0Dh = 0099. Reg0Ch = 0410

Thanks Pavel

Hello Sidlo,

Apologies for the late reply to this request.

Generally, the NTC pins should not be left floating if disabled. By leaving these pins floating, you would risk introducing unintended currents paths, leading to unpredictable behavior.

Instead, you have them connected to a 10k resistor and you still get a floating error for half of your devices despite having Reg17h = 0007?

For the devices that are Reg0Dh = 0099 and Reg0Ch = 0410, does this error occur? Do you have a schematic of these implementations?

Let us know if there have been any updates on this inquiry since it has been a while.

Best,

Krishan
