I made a product to use Li-polymer batteries charging and Power Path mode using mp2759, and as a result of testing, battery charging is not progressing at all.

What is the configuration of the battery pack?
What is the ACOK and STAT LED status when you connect the input? Is battery connected at this time?
Can you verify there no NTC fault?
