I’m evaluating the MP2759A using the evaluation board.
And I was wondering about the Input current(max 3A) if it would be possible to increase the max current to 5A.
If yes, please let me know it.

Seems like a bit much, the dissipation in the transistor between Vin and Pmid would increase by 2.5X I doubt they left that much on the table. Get a demo board and adjust the input current limit to 5A Rilim about 15k and go for it. Should work fine except for evertyhing getting super hot. So then you have to figure out some heatsinking for the IC
