MP2759A Hot Charge Temperature

Hello,
I am using the MP2759A battery charger. For sensing battery temperature, I am using the semitech 103AT-2 thermistor with a 10k pull up, as specified on page 15. Page 16 says the cutoff temperature is 42 or 44 percent of VCC, depending on the part variant. An NTC resistance of 7241/7857 ohms and would achieve 42/44 percent of VCC, respectively. This corresponds to a temperature around 32/33 degrees C. Is that the intended behavior? I thought JEITA cut-off was around 40C for Li-Po, and 45-60C for Li-Ion.

Thank you,
Brett

Hi Brett,
For device MP2759A, its narrower or smaller window for NTC range.

We do have the same device, non-A version which does support higher NTC threshold. Here is the link to the non-A version.
