In MP2759 Datasheet, it is stated:

Selecting the PMID Capacitor (CPMID)
The PMID pin capacitor (CPMID) serves as the
buck regulator’s decoupling capacitor. A
ceramic 2.2μF/50V capacitor with X5R or X7R
dielectrics and 1206 size is recommended.
Do not put additional capacitance on the PMID
pin. Connect a 2A/40V Schottky diode in an
SMA package from IN to PMID
”
What disturbs me is the “Do not put additional capacitance on the PMID pin”. Since the PMID is connected to SYS, does that mean that i cannot add bulk capas on SYS ? If so, why can’t i disconnect pmid from SYS (i have a 4s system with powerpath). How can i add capas down the SYS line (for exemple if i have bucks down the line) ?
