BAT_LOADEN enables / disables powering the load from the battery when the input source is not sufficient.

This statement is confusing.
I have BAT_LOADEN = 0 all the time in my configuration. It would mean that when the input source is insufficient the system wouldn’t run properly. But this is not the case. It transitions between input source/charging and battery discharging smoothly.
Can you please share more details about this setting?
