Good day,

Can you please let me know if we can still connect a MCU USB to the USB data signals, D+ D-, and use it for a normal USB connection once the power management is complete?

Hello Nouman,

I would like to connect the MCU to the USB bus but I don’t know if the USB data bus needs to have a switch to connect to the charger and then switched to the MCU or can both the MCU and the MP2722 use the USB data lines simultaneously?

Hi Charles,

D+/D- is for USB detection. For this charger, MCU and USB cannot share the same data lines.
