Currently using the MP2722 dev board and just wondering what i should set the registers IVIN_SRC and VIN_TEST if i want to test water detection.
Hello Roshan, welcome to the MPS Forums and apologies for the delayed response.
You will want to set IVIN_SRC to select a small test current routed to VIN for simulating moisture. Perhaps setting this to 0000 would be best, corresponding to 5uA.
As for VIN_TEST, I would say set this to 00, corresponding to 0.3V You will want to maximize sensitivity here. Water films should theoretically cause a super small voltage rise.
