Please tell me about the DCP current of MP2722.
P18 [Input Current Limit Setting by D+/DDetection] of the datasheet sets the USB DCP=2A.
In this case, if connect the MP2722 with a 1A rated AC adapter via USB DCP, will the MP2722 try to sink 2A?
In that case, can the USB DCP current be set?

Selecting the 2A limit, does not mean 2A will be sinked, The 2A limit is a max threshold setting for the device will allow to draw. So you can operate below this with no issue. You can use 1A rated adapter.
