Where can i find the register settings of the default version “0000”?
I can see that some are “default”, and I guess they are as the “0000” version.
But REG04h does not have any default settings??
Or am i missing something obvious here?

Yes, you are right, MP2702 has by default 0000 version from the factory and it can be only OTP.
REG04h has default settings in the datasheet, please refer to the page 22 of the datasheet.
