Hi, Can we configure for MP2696A Operate Without I2C Host!

Thanks for utilizing MPS Technical Forum,
This device is one time programmable. However, for this specific device, user can not configure to operate as standalone or without I2C interface. OTP can only be done by factory.
What is your application? You can look into other single cell chargers with no i2c or standalone operation.

Thank you so much for your reply. i am designing a Li-Ion powered device I’m searching for a battery charger management IC(buck/boost) with requirement below functions:
1.The input power(in USB range) to either charge the Li-Ion (up to 500mA)and power the load (up to 2.5A maximum for short term around 5 secs)
2.The status of charge and discharge are can be simotiniues simultaneous which mean that device still can be deliver the voltage 5V/2.5A when it is chargin.
3.It is can operate as the UPS with power managerment option in case Input 5V/0.5A–>Baterry–>5V/ max 2.5A(within short term 3-5 seconds)
