I have a board that uses 2S Li-Ion 18650 batteries. MP2672AGD is used to balance and recharge the batteries but I noticed the charging stops between 8-8.1V. Tried multiple boards and the issue remains, even if the bits at REG00H are changed to target 8.8V, the result says the same.
Could there be an error in schematic or layout?

The connection on the ACOK pin is missing, which might be the reason for this.
ACOK should be “LOW” for proper operation as stated in the image above.

Thanks for your reply. In our application we do not neet ACOK functionality, that is why it was left not connected.
I will add connection ACOK to VCC through 390ohm resistor without LED to next revision to check if it makes any difference.
