I have designed a charging circuit for my 2S Lion battery pack but it is not charging.
Here is my schematic.
Both ACOK and STAT led are lighting up.
On V_SYS, I am reading 6.92V, even after hours of being plugged in.

Apologies for the delayed response here.
Firstly, I would like to confirm if you are working with the MP2672 or the MP2672A?
Regardless of the variant, I wanted to know if the ACOK and STAT indicator LEDs blinking are? If the STAT pin is blinking, then the battery is just not being detected. Were you able to check all the connections here?
Also, if there have been any updates to this behavior that you are seeing, please let me know.

hey! did you ever find the solution? I am facing a similar issue, standalone mode, schematic according to data sheet. it detects battery > starting charging (stat solid) but it doesn’t consume more than 0.01A, I left the battery charging overnight , it only went from 7.14 to 7.4 in 12 hours.
ISET is 2A
VLIM is 4v
I tired with multiple USB adapters, same issue.
I checked voltage at BATT pin, with out battery it shows 8.6v , with battery it shows battery voltage (7.14v)
the AP2672 is not taking any load.
