MP2672 SW Signal on PIN 2 and 12

The SW signal is connected to pins 2 and 12, but in the demo layout, only pin 2 is connected. Is there a reason for this?

Thank you for posting your question in the MPS Technical Forum,

By demo board, do you mean the MP2672 Evaluation Board? (EV2672-D-01A).

Pins 2 and 12 are internally connected, hence an external connection between these pins is not necessary. Here I attach the EVB schematic to illustrate it.
