When the INT PIN of MP2667 is pulled low for 8 seconds, the BAT FET will turn off and the chip will immediately enter the Reset Mode. What I hope to confirm is whether the BAT FET will automatically turn on again later. I plan to use the INT PIN to achieve the system power switch function. If the chip automatically returns to the normal state from the Reset Mode, then the INT PIN cannot function as the system power switch.
Hello Linux,
Welcome to the MPS Forums!
Here is what the MP2667 datasheet says about this exact subject:
The BAT FET won’t turn back on after 8s in Reset Mode. INT will need to be toggled again to reconnect the battery back to the system. You would need additional logic to use INT as a system power switch in that case.
Best,
Krishan
