MP2662 Interrupt Pin

Hello, can you confirm that the INT pin on the MP2662 is open-drain? And that it is okay to pull it up to 3.3V (host Vdd) rather than MP2662 Vdd?

Hello Jake,

Apologies for the delayed response here.

I can confirm that the SDA and SCL serial interface pins are open drain after reading through the datasheet, but not necessarily explicit for the INT pin (so I can see why you would ask).

Usually the INT (interrupt signals) are often configured as open-drain outputs to allow multiple peripheral devices may connect to a single interrupt line. Let me verify that this is the case here and I’ll get back to you.

As for question of the INT pin being pulled up to the host VDD as opposed to the MP2662 VDD, I believe this is recommended by the typical application schematic (so that should be absolutely fine):

Best,

Krishan
