MP2662 is listed as a single cell batt. charger but if I had 2 LiPo batteries in parallel, would this be considered multi-cell?
MP2662 is acceptable since the terminals would be seen as 1 cell. For example, if you were already using a 250mAh from a vendor and for another project needed to use 500mAh, you can use 2x of the 250mAh in parallel along with the MP2662 as the charger. The only concern with doing this is if the two cells are physically located far away from each other because then there will be some added ESR between them. If the ESR is high on one cell, then that cell will be slightly undercharged compared to the other one. This is why, at least for tablets, they always use 1sNp packs.
