MP2637 Battery charging not working

Hi,
I am using battery charger ic MP2637, charger IC. I connect 3.7V li ion cell as battery. charge valid pin is blinking. what is the reason? I checked the battery voltage with 2.8V, 3.7V. 4.1V. But still charge valid pin is blinking what is the reason?

Hi @dibin.ct, thank you for using the MPS Technical Forum.

According to the MP2637 datasheet, a blinking CHG pin may indicate either a NTC or Timer Fault:

More information on these faults is available in the datasheet:

Please verify that the external capacitor between TMR and GND allows ample charging time, and check that the voltage on the NTC pin falls within the acceptable window.

Thank you,
Will

External capacitor between TMR and GND is 0.1uF.

I am using the Value 6.65K and 25.5K for NTC Window. I think it is well within the limit.
Only Divider is connected i am not using NTC here.

Hi,
Issue solved. I connect 10K resistor instead of 6.65K and 25.5K. it worked as per datasheet. when not using NTC datasheet recommends those values. Thank you.

Nice catch. Glad your issue is solved.
