Hi everyone,
I’m using the MP2625B as a battery charger in a telemetry unit with a 433.92 MHz radio module. Extremely low EMI is necessary to achieve good signal quality. The charger works well but generates electromagnetic interference. Is there a way to reduce EMI, and what are the key layout considerations?
Thanks!
Hello @stefan.kinzlbauer,
The ground plane should be connected through vias to all the component returns. It is also recommended to use single ground plane and star ground which keeps circuit block currents isolated thereby, reducing noise-coupling and ground bounce issues. Isolating the components also help in reducing coupling between signals. You can also refer to the article below which is based on different strategies to reduce EMI.
