MP2617H - Input quiescent current

Hi,

My project is a telemetry unit that includes MP2617H as a battery management of the lithium-ion battery.
In the datasheet of the MP2617H described that:

Input quiescent current
Input quiescent current970×151 37.1 KB

So, my question is: is it right for charge mode or discharge mode?
What is a solution for reducing the Input quiescent current when entire system is in off state (storage mode) except MP2617H that is always enabled?

For your first question,
When datasheet is referring to “charger”, its referring to the IC MP2517H. Regardless of the mode, the Iq is 3.8mA typical.
