MP24833-A - separate signal and power GNDs

Hi all,

I want to use this chip in buck mode to control an LED but I would really prefer it if I could keep the signal and the power GNDs separate, unlike the application circuit described in the datasheet (Fig.3, p.13).

Would something like the following work?

And if yes, should I include the 100ohm resistor on the INGND pin like when you use the chip in boost mode (Fig.4, p.13)?

Hello,

I recommend following the example in the datasheet.
The reason for the 100ohm for the other topologies is to protect the IC from short circuit LED+ to VSS.
