In the application circuit, there is only one 220nf capacitor between the BST and SW nodes. However, in MPSmart Model, there is a 20ohm resistor and a 1uf capacitor. I am curious about the purpose of the 20ohm resistor and whether it is necessary. Can we just use a 220nf capacitor instead?

Hello,
Yes, you can just use 220nF cap. The resistor is to limit the inrush current and slow down the rise time.

Hello, regarding the resistor and capacitor on the bootstrap pin on the MP2329 simulation model. Are there any recommendations for defining the resistance/capacitance value? We are having some radiated emission failures and would like to investigate slowing the rise time.

Hi Lee,
This may vary between designs. I would start with the typical application values and adjust from there. You can test this on our evaluation board here.
