How can I ALWAYS force the MP232 in CCM mode ?
connect to VCC
floating
connect to GND?
Logically, I would think connect to GND, but datasheet says others wise, Please exaplain. Does floating have any penalty on the noise?
I have now connected to VCC and the chip is hot at 80C with no load. 24v-10V buck .
datasheet says: A resistor is connected from AAM pin to ground to set a AAM voltage force MP2313 into non-synchronous mode when load is small. Drive AAM pin high (=VCC) or float AAM pin will force MP2313 into CCM.
But looking at the logic schematics on page 11, it should be GROUND to make sense for the NOR gate, to always enable CCM.
