MP1477hgtf-p Abnormal behavior

I am a big fan of demo boards. They do push it a bit on their specs and the datasheets are sometimes a bit light on data.

This is a COT based converter.
If you put a ferrite bead between the inductor and the feedback divider sense node bad things could happen.

And COT is picky on output capacitance so you need to pay full attention to the Output ESR.

Try repeat this design rather than increase the inductance.

I removed the ferrite bead and connected it directly, but it didn’t affect the performance in any way.

The inductance will affect the internal compensation loop as this is a COT based converter.
Try the datasheet proposed design aka the schematic that I enclosed.
If issue kept the same then you need to contact MPS and open a ticket.
