I am working with a gimbal motor within 3 hall sensor, each hall sensor in angular distance is 120 degree. Can MP6546 correctly work with it?
Unfortunately those hall effect sensors will not work directly with that motor driver. Those hall effect sensors output only high or low and meant only for motor commutation. This part requires either two linear hall effect sensors to generate a SIN/COS signals to read the position of the motor or a sensor from our MagAlpha family. This is a very flexible family that makes it easy to develop into systems. If you are interested in this we can help you find the right part from that family for your application.

Actually those 3 hall sensor are all linear output and generate sin/cos signal. Can I use 2 of 3 sensor which angular between those are 120 degree? Once I saw you have some limitationi to constraint 2 hall sensor can only be 90 degree between.
Thank you for clarifying. The part is intended to work with inputs being Sin/Cos, meaning 90 degrees out of phase. I do not recommend using 2/3 of your existing sensors as it could interfere with the commutation accuracy.
