Hi, we have found that reference design MEZS7-1S-4SPDPowerbank would be perfect for our application, but we need SMBus communication back to the battery pack, how would this be possible?

Hi Josh,
This would not be possible, the cypress controller implemented on the reference design does not support SMBUS.
