Hello,

I would like to know if the NC PINs (14 & 16 for MCS1812 and 8 & 10 for MCS1810) can be connected to VCC ? Both datasheets clearly state that these pins are not connected internally, but I’d like to be sure that there are no contraindications?

Hi Anneclaire,

It is acceptable to connect these pins to VCC. MPS recommends adding a ~10kΩ resistor to limit current in the event that this pin is connected to a high-impedance source.
